What does stamping mean?
Stamping is a forming process in which a press and a die are used to apply an external force to plates, strips, tubes, profiles, etc., to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain a workpiece of the desired shape and size (stamped part).
Also known as [Sheet metal stamping] is defined as Sheet metal stamping.
There are two common types of stamping
Cold stamping
Processing of metal at room temperature, generally sheet thickness <4mm;
Hot stamping
